SILICON BEACH FILM FESTIVAL
Helping Celebrate Independent Cinema

April 22nd – 30th, 2018

at Cinemark 18 & XD @ the Howard Hughes Promenade, Los Angeles

SUNDAY NIGHT!
4/22/2018:

6:00 PM – HOW TO MAKE A MOVIE and Film Distribution Panel

How to Make a Movie will focus on how to select, deploy and use the latest
technologies to produce a film — from acquisition through distribution.
How to Make a Movie will be to the independent filmmaker what Emeril
Lagasse’s groundbreaking Food Network show, How to Boil Water, has been to
aspiring chefs: a hands-on guide to physical production, post production and
distribution that inspects the craft of filmmaking from a leading-edge technical

perspective.

SBFF has brought together a group of deeply experienced industry
professionals on opening night to explore (perhaps for the first time) the most
relevant digital workflows currently available. The conversation will make a
meaningful difference for attendees who understand that the quality of their
content also depends on making the right “tech spec” choices well in advance

of the first action call. Don’t miss it.

PANELISTS INCLUDE: Eliot Mack, David Courtice, Christian
Geocosala, and Ted Rosenblatt hosted by industry executive Kenneth Yas
